Mental Health

Emmanuel is known for our collaborative environment, ensuring all our students feel supported, encouraged & content during their time with us.

Members of our wider Wellbeing & Welfare Team are available to help with specific mental health concerns:

Counsellor

Tim Ellis is able to offer confidential & secure meetings to explore any concerns & difficulties you may be experiencing, and will help to identify the best options for moving forward. He is available for appointments in the Counselling Rooms in 5 St Andrew's Street, Rooms 10 &11.

The University also runs a Counselling Service for students.

Dean & Assistant Chaplain

Jeremy Caddick, the College Dean, who officiates over the Chapel, is always available to provide advice & confidential support to all students, irrespective of their faith. You can arrange (via email) to meet him in his rooms on C staircase.

David Bagnall assists the Dean with oversight of the Chapel, and is also able to help any student with any concerns and support needed. He is contactable via email, and to arrange a meeting in his office in the North Court Cloisters.

Nurse

Diana Lloyd gives medical & mental health advice and undertakes minor treatment. The College Health Centre is open on Mondays 1200-1500, and Tuesday, Thursday & Friday afternoons 1630-1830. Any updates to the times of regular surgeries will be posted in the Porters’ Lodge.
