Our Open Days are intended to provide prospective candidates with information about the College and its undergraduate admissions procedures.
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Please note that all in-person admissions related events at Emmanuel College have been cancelled until at least the end of December. The films below were pre-recorded for the Virtual Open Days held on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 July. The College will also be taking part in further University Virtual Open Days in September and information will be appear on this page later in the Summer.
UNIVERSITY & COLLEGE VIRTUAL OPEN DAYS
The July open days are now complete, but you can continue to watch some pre-recorded films. The College's films are on this page (below this text) and the University's may still be available via their open day site.
If you have any questions, please email the Admissions Officer.
A welcome to the College from the Acting Senior Tutor
Take a look around the College, filmed during lockdown in quiet, but sunny surroundings (this film refers to the 2nd and 3rd July Open Days).
Arts Day in the Life
This film features an average day in the life of Harriet, a second year HSPS student.
Science Day in the Life
Listen as Eddie, a first year Natural Sciences student, talks you through a day in the life of a NatSci.
A selection of views from around the College. Some of the photos have been taken by Aida Miralaei, a PhD student at the College, and we are very grateful to her for allowing us to use them.
VISITORS WITH DISABILITIES
Please contact the Admissions Officer in advance, if you require any specific arrangements to be made during your visit to the College, e.g., room accessibility.
We would advise all prospective candidates to familiarise themselves with the full details of the courses, which are available on the Departmental and Faculty pages, as these may provide helpful background reading for discussions with Directors of Studies and Admissions Tutors.
VISITING THE COLLEGE AT OTHER TIMES
PLEASE NOTE: The College is currently closed to visitors.
The College is usually open daily from 9am to 6pm for members of the public to wander through the grounds. You do not need to book to have a general look around, but we advise you to email in advance and check that the College is definitely open. During your visit, you can call into the Porters’ Lodge (main entrance, St Andrew’s Street) to pick up copies of the College and Alternative prospectuses.
