Our Open Days are intended to provide prospective candidates with information about the College and its undergraduate admissions procedures.
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Please note that all in-person admissions related events at Emmanuel College have been cancelled until at least the end of May 2021 and the College is closed to all visitors. We will, however, be hosting virtual sessions this year (dates will appear below). Take a look through the films below, which were recorded for our 2020 virtual open sessions.
Wednesday 31 MAR 2021
Virtual Open Session
- Bookings MUST be made in advance of the event and before the closing dates.
- You will receive confirmation of your booking by email.
UNIVERSITY & COLLEGE VIRTUAL OPEN DAYS
The University open days will take place on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 July 2021. We do not know at this stage whether we will be able to host in-person sessions. Booking information will appear on the University's open day page in early Spring, but you can register now to be entered on the mailing list. In the meantime, the University's virtual tour is available and Emmanuel has a College tour below, which was filmed for the virtual open days in September 2020 and includes a look around the accommodation
If you have any questions, please email the Admissions Officer.
A welcome to the College from an Admissions Tutor
Take a look around the College, filmed during the College closure, in quiet, but sunny surroundings (this film refers to the 17th and 18th September Open Days).
Arts Day in the Life
This film features an average day in the life of Harriet, a second year HSPS student.
Science Day in the Life
Listen as Eddie, a first year Natural Sciences student, talks you through a day in the life of a NatSci.
A selection of views from around the College. Some of the photos have been taken by Aida Miralaei, a PhD student at the College, and we are very grateful to her for allowing us to use them.
VISITORS WITH DISABILITIES
Please contact the Admissions Officer in advance, if you require any specific arrangements to be made during your visit to the College, e.g., room accessibility.
We would advise all prospective candidates to familiarise themselves with the full details of the courses, which are available on the Departmental and Faculty pages, as these may provide helpful background reading for discussions with Directors of Studies and Admissions Tutors.
VISITING THE COLLEGE AT OTHER TIMES
PLEASE NOTE: The College is currently closed to visitors.
The College is usually open daily from 9am to 6pm for members of the public to wander through the grounds. You do not need to book to have a general look around, but we advise you to email in advance and check that the College is definitely open. During your visit, you can call into the Porters’ Lodge (main entrance, St Andrew’s Street) to pick up copies of the College and Alternative prospectuses.
