Welcome to your Undergraduate Studies

Please read the Welcome Letter from the College Registrar and the Freshers' Guide to College Life first. These are the official documents from the College Tutorial Office. It is also strongly advised that you familiarise yourself with College Regulations and policies (see Introductory Information) before coming into residence.

We will continue to add information to this webpage, so do please check here regularly for updates.

ECSU is the Emmanuel College Students' Union (the representative body for students of Emmanuel College). More information can be found on ECSU website.

Requesting a Bank Letter

If you wish to open a bank account in Cambridge, please fill in this online bank form to request a bank introduction letter. The letter will be available after you have completed your College ID checks. Students are advised to prepare for opening a bank account prior to collecting this letter.


Further Information

NB: All students are required to register with a local GP on arrival in Cambridge, and then to inform the College. There is an online submission form which you will be able to access once you have a University (previously known as Raven) login, for completion after you have enrolled with a local doctors surgery and by Friday 18 October 2024.

Black Advisory Hub

On Thursday 19 September, from 1pm-5pm, the Black Advisory Hub will run an online event for new Black undergraduate and postgraduate students who are planning to commence their studies at the University of Cambridge. This induction event is an exciting opportunity for new students to learn how to confidently navigate relevant student services as well as meet other Black students across the University. If you are an incoming Black student and would like to attend, please find the registration link here.
