Open Days

College and Faculty Open Day MATHEMATICS Programme

Saturday 4 May 2024: Mathematics only

Parents are welcome to attend the College talks in the morning. During the Faculty sessions, there will be in-person activities for student visitors and a talk for parents and supporters.

BOOKINGS FOR THIS EVENT MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE FACULTY NO LATER THAN MONDAY 29 APRIL 2024.

From 09:30 Registration - please register before the presentation, which starts promptly at 10:30.
From 09:30 Early-Bird Tours of the College - tours of the College (see also 12:00-12:30); last tour starts at 09:45.
From 10:00 Refreshments - Director of Studies and current maths undergraduates will be available to talk to you about Emmanuel and to answer questions.
10:30 - 12:00 Presentation, General Discussion and Question Time on Mathematics at Emmanuel - with the Director of Studies and Emmanuel students.
12:00 - 12:30 Tours of the College - student visitors with current mathematics undergraduates and parents/guardians/supporters with the Director of Studies. Includes another chance to ask questions to undergraduates and the Director of Studies.
12:30 - 13:15 Lunch in Hall - for student visitors and current undergraduates. Hot and cold food available, self-service (free of charge). A further chance for student visitors to ask questions to current undergraduates.
13:15 Short walking tour of Cambridge ending at the Centre of Mathematical Sciences (CMS) - current mathematics undergraduates will conduct a short walking tour of Cambridge on route to the CMS.
