Giving From Abroad
Emmanuel College gratefully accepts cheques and credit card payments in any currency. Cheques should be made payable to Emmanuel College and sent to the Development Office, Emmanuel College, St Andrew's Street, Cambridge CB2 3AP.
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland: Tax-Efficient Donations
It is possible to make tax-efficient gifts to Emmanuel College, if resident in one of the above countries, through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE).
To do so, donors need to contact the foundation in their country and state clearly that their gift is for Emmanuel College Cambridge. Donors in France need to make their cheques payable to Fondation de France/500477/Emmanuel College.
Canada: Tax-Efficient Donations
Revenue Canada has confirmed that donations made to the University of Cambridge entitle Canadian donors to claim deductions in computing their taxable income subject to the provisions of sub-paragraph 110(1)(a)(vi) of the Canadian Income Tax Act. Donations made to Emmanuel College will automatically qualify. Revenue Canada will accept a receipt issued by the University Treasurer, direct to you, as evidence of payment entitling you to claim deductions in your taxable income.
Hong Kong: Tax-Efficient Donations
The Hong Kong Foundation for Charities is a HK registered charity established in 2015 to support education, social welfare and religion around the world. For US donors who wish to make tax-deductible donations, Emmanuel College is supported by The American Fund for Emmanuel.
