Postgraduate Life
The focus of postgraduate life in Emmanuel is the MCR or Middle Combination Room. The term refers to both a room (in the Queen’s Building) and a lively and sociable group of people. The room offers a place to relax and to meet people.
The members of the MCR are all the postgraduate students of the College. Live-in partners of MCR members are also affiliated members. The MCR committee represents the postgraduate community on the Governing Body and other College committees and organizes social events. These include regular dinners and meetings for postgraduates to explain their academic work to those outside their area. Further details can be found on the MCR website http://emmamcr.org.uk.
Postgraduate students have access to the full range of College facilities – sporting, musical, cultural and religious - as described in the pages on Student Life.
