Outreach Events
We run several exciting events and programmes throughout the academic year. Information about those with applications currently open can be found below. Some of our programmes take place every year, so take a look at our past events page to get a broader sense of opportunities that are available throughout the year.
All our school visits, events and programmes are entirely free of charge.
- 7th-10th July 2025
EMMpower Summer Residential
Our brand new EMMpower summer residential will see 30 highly able Yr12 pupils from across our Link Areas of Sheffield and Essex come to Emmanuel for a taster of what it might be like to study at Cambridge. The final day of the residential coincides with first of our University Open Days.

Medic Mentoring Scheme
The Medic Mentoring Scheme, spearheaded by Emmanuel's Medical and Veterinary Society, pairs aspiring medical students with current clinical medics at Emmanuel. Through regular support via our mentoring platform as well as webinars on topics such as interviews, sitting the UCAT, and personal statements, participants are supported in making competitive applications to UK medical schools.

Thomas Young Physicists
Interested in Physics, Maths, or Chemistry? Our Thomas Young Physicists programme offers pupils in Yr10/11/12 insight into our Physical Natural Sciences course via a webinar series with Cambridge academics followed by a free in-person visit day to Emmanuel College.

KS4 Insight Days
Our KS4 Insight Days are a brilliant opportunity for Link Area schools to bring up to 15 highly able Yr10/Yr11 students to Emmanuel College for the day. Taking place across 6 dates in the Autumn Term, we usually welcome four schools on each Insight Day, aiming to match up schools by area as well as age group where possible.

ClickCambridge
Run by a collaboration of Colleges, ClickCambridge is designed to support Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Arab (BPA)/mixed-BPA students to prepare for Sixth Form and university-level study. Eligible students from state (non fee-paying) schools can join the programme in Year 11 (England and Wales), S4 (Scotland), or Year 12 (Northern Ireland). The programme is completely free of charge.

KS5 Insight Days
Our KS5 Insight Days are a brilliant opportunity for Link Area schools to bring up to 15 highly able Yr12 students to Emmanuel College for the day.
