The Emma Experience programme is your Cambridge co-curricular toolkit to help you thrive now and into the future. We curate a programme of Wellbeing, Community, Skills and Careers events and opportunities just for you.

Wellbeing

ENHANCE YOUR ABILITY TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS IN LEARNING AND LIFE

Start your week with morning fitness with your very own personal trainer. Learn some mindfulness techniques to help with exam or thesis stress. Attend a masterclass on improving your sleep or nutrition. End the week by unwinding at candlelit yoga.

Community

ENGAGE WITH YOUR COMMUNITY AT EMMANUEL

Hear a talk on the future of AI. Share your research with the wider Emma community of scholars. Join a tour of the College gardens through the seasons. Discover how you can volunteer with a local charity. Get involved with a college club or society committee.

Skills

ENRICH YOUR SKILLS TO HELP YOU GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR WORK AND LIFE

Attend a masterclass on public speaking or managing your money. Practice your language skills at a lunchtime language table. Get some work done at a weekly Scriptorium (with cake). Participate in a competition and learn how to turn your ideas into a business or social enterprise.

Get your co–curricular experience and learning recognised with a Mildmay Award for personal and professional development

Benefits include a certificate and eligibility to apply for a £250 Acorn Grant. You can earn points by attending Emma Experience events, serving in a student leadership role, or by volunteering.

Choose your own adventure with Emma Experience

Emma Enterprise

As part of our skills offering you can get involved with Emma Enterprise and learn how to turn your ideas into reality. You might use this to kickstart a social enterprise, or ignite a new business. You will be able to get introductory skills at our two-day residential lab, and if selected for the pitching competition, assigned a mentor and go in the running towards a cash investment.
