College Associate Professor (Teaching Officer) and Fellowship in Spanish
Applications are invited for a College Associate Professorship in Spanish, to be taken up by 1 October 2026. The post will be for three years in the first instance. The appointment is equally funded by Emmanuel College and Downing College.
About the role
The College Associate Professor will be expected to undertake teaching for both Emmanuel and Downing Colleges, leading small group teaching (‘supervision’) of undergraduates studying Spanish (240 hours per annum) and will be required to assume the role of Director of Studies for one or both Colleges.

Application requirements
We are seeking a specialism in Latin American culture (Spanish), but the ability to teach in Peninsular Studies will be an advantage. It is expected that the post holder will be research active.
