Burnaby Recital by David Ponsford (1968)

The Michaelmas Term Burnaby Recital was given by organist David Ponsford (1968). James trained at Trinity College, Cambridge, and the Royal College of Music, and has sung all the major oratorio repertoire in concert halls around the world. David is committed to continuing to perform, research and teach in order to bring a greater understanding of the music to as wide an audience as possible. Earlier this year, he was awarded the Royal College of Organists’ Medal, its highest honour, for distinguished achievement in organ performance and scholarship.
