We are absolutely delighted for our Honorary Fellow Professor Yuk–ming Dennis Lo, who has been nominated for a University of Cambridge Doctorate in Medical Sciences. His research into methods to discovering free fetal DNA in maternal blood, is internationally recognised for its development of non–invasive prenatal tests. His work has also discovered free DNA as a non–invasive biomarker, to detect other diseases like cancer.
