Richard Jennings directs studies in HPS for a number of colleges including Emmanuel. He has taught history and philosophy of science in Cambridge since 1975, with his main interest in philosophy of science. His research focuses on ethical issues in science, particularly professional conduct in science and the uses of science. He is a member of the HPS department, he lectures in the Computer Sciences Tripos on Professional Practice and Ethics and in the Physics Department on Ethics in/of Physics. He also runs Ethics workshops at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in Hinxton.
