Dr Stephen Sharp

MSc (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine)

Stephen is one of our College Research Associates, and is based at the MRC Epidemiology Unit as a Senior Statistician.

BIOGRAPHY

Stephen has led the statistics work of the Statistics and Data Science team at the University of Cambridge Epidemiology Unit since 2006. He studied Mathematics at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, and Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has worked as a medical statistician within both academia and industry. From 2010-2021 Stephen was a member of a Technology Appraisal Committee for the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
