Emmanuel Society Culture Club - A Day in Ely – Etheldreda, Saxon Ely, the Cathedral and Afternoon Tea
The Emmanuel Society celebrated the 1350th anniversary of the founding of the abbey at Ely by Etheldreda by arranging a day out for Members. This included a talk by Dr Charles Moseley as part of a visit to Ely Museum, followed by afternoon tea at the beautiful Almonry Restaurant, located within the medieval precinct of Ely Cathedral.
