Join architectural historian Canon Janet Gough OBE (1980) for a walking tour to discover the extraordinary genius of Sir Christopher Wren, as he rebuilds the City of London out of the disasters of the Black Death and Great Fire.

Starting at the Monument, with its royal propaganda, you will visit several highly varied and ingenious Wren churches, not forgetting their iconic towers and spires. The tour ends at Wren’s masterpiece - domed St Paul's Cathedral, containing highlights of British Baroque while firmly rooted in the gothic tradition.

The tour includes a very special visit to the triforum or first floor at St Paul's Cathedral to see Wren’s Great Model, his newly restored library and the extraordinary geometric staircase. There will also be an opportunity to view the special tercentenary Wren exhibition at St Paul’s.
