JEREMY CADDICK read Natural Sciences at St John's College Cambridge, Theology at Oxford University and Medical Law and Ethics at King's College, London. He has been Dean and Chaplain of Emmanuel since 1994. In addition to pastoral work in the College community and his role in the College Chapel, he acts as Tutor to Graduate Students. He is a member of the Faculties of Biology and Divinity and lectures on medical ethics. He served as Senior Proctor in the year 2009-10 and an elected member of the University Council from 2012 to 2016. Before moving to Cambridge he served as a university chaplain in medical and veterinary schools in London and as a Priest Vicar of Westminster Abbey. Along with Jack McDonald and Duncan Dormor he edited Anglicanism:The Answer to Modernity (Continuum 2003), a book of essays by Cambridge clergy.
