Fresher Information
Before you can be connected to the college network or use any of the facilities in the computer rooms, you will need to collect your user id (which forms the first part of your Cambridge email address) and passwords for various systems.
Once you have settled in at Emmanuel, take your UCAS number to one of the public student computers. These can be found in College, in your department or at the University Computing Service reception. Sign on with the user name signup and a blank password. If you do not know your UCAS number please contact the Tutorial office who are at the bottom of B staircase.
If you have a PC, we strongly recommend that you install some anti-spyware software on your computer and run a scan before you arrive in college.
Once you have your user id you can follow these instructions to get your computer connected to the College network.
