Antivirus Software
Installing antivirus software and configuring it so that it remains up-to-date is a requirement of connecting to the college network.
There are many antivirus packages available and if you already use one and it automatically updates then you do not need to anything else. However, if you do not have one installed or if the one you do have proves inadequate, then we recommend McAfee's VirusScan (Windows, Apple OS X and Linux) which is available under a University-wide site licence.

Please note that these products may also be installed on home machines whilst you are a member of Cambridge University but that all copies should be deleted when you leave.
