After graduating from Oxford in 1964, I joined the research group of Luis Alvarez at the University of California, Berkeley, where I obtained a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics in 1969.
Lucy Razzall is one of several Research Fellows – people at the beginning of their academic careers to whom Emmanuel gives the chance to spend three years pursuing full-time scholarly research in a collegiate environment.
