College Sportsground
The College sportsground, a 12 acre site on Wilberforce Road near Grange Road, consists of 2 football pitches, 1 rugby pitch, 9 tennis courts (3 newly-laid hardcourts and 6 grass courts), 1 cricket pitch and 2 netball courts. Over the past 5 years the majority of the ground has been relaid including a new cricket square and the six first-class tennis courts. There are three changing rooms, two male and one female.
Many Members of Emmanuel enjoy the facilities, including:
- Four football teams – the 1st, 2nd , MCR and the ladies Pink Panther side.
- The Rugby 1st team.
- Two tennis clubs – the College Mens and Ladies.
- Two cricket clubs – the College 1st team and a combined MCR (Graduate) side.
- Three netball teams – two ladies and a mixed side.
The sportsground is available to Fellows, Students and Staff of the College and guests by arrangement.
