Notes regarding the student interviews
- Videos were filmed using volunteers from among the student body at Emmanuel College. These volunteers were not paid for participating in the videos, and the videos were not scripted in any way.
- All information in these videos should be treated as being entirely subjective. Views expressed in the videos are entirely the views of the person expressing them, and are not necessarily shared by Emmanuel College or the University of Cambridge, or any of their representatives. Any course information or College information may not be accurate and should be checked against the relevant prospectuses or admissions office.
- These videos are intended to give a more informal, personal account of students’ experience of studying certain subjects at the University of Cambridge. As such, these experiences are not necessarily representative of the majority of students’ experience of studying that subject and should be treated as merely one experience among many.
- No attempt should be made to divine from these videos a particular personality type or profile of a typical Cambridge student. Students of the University of Cambridge are a diverse group and these videos feature only a handful of them (those who volunteered for the project!).
- These videos were produced by Emmanuel College and are not part of a University-wide project.
