Taster Days

Emmanuel College runs subject Taster Days. At these, you can get a taste of what it’s like to study at university. These usually consist of lectures, tours of Cambridge & talking to undergraduates.

Link Area - Subject Tasters

In February & March 2022, students from our link areas are invited to get a taste of university in essay–based subjects. Each week, we will be exploring a set of subjects with talks from Emmanuel College Fellows and current students. There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A. All events will be held on MS Teams.

If you would like to access the recordings, and meet the following eligibility criteria, please email slo@emma.cam.ac.uk.

• In Year 9 or Year 10
• Live and attend school in our link areas of Sheffield/Essex/Thurrock/Southend-on-Sea
• Attend ConnectToCambridge schools (Trumpington Community College, Cromwell Community College)
• Attend a state comprehensive school
• OR meet at least one of our widening participation criteria

• There are currently no taster days arranged.
